Business VISA

 

A Business Visa is issued to persons who are travelling to Guyana to establish a business, attend Meetings or train local staff to use machineries purchased from Foreign Countries. Overseas Missionaries desirous of engaging in voluntary services in Guyana can also be issued with a Business Visa.

DOCUMENTATION:

  • Two (2) Completed Application Forms

  • Two (2) Passport Sized Photos

  • Passport (at least 6 months of remaining validity)

  • Proposed Travel Itinerary

  • Proof of Accommodation in Guyana (e.g. confirmation of reservation from Hotel)

  • Proof of Financial means of support during your stay in Guyana (e.g. Bank Statement, Job Letter, Pay Slip)

  • Letter of Support from Sponsor or Overseas Company/Organization/Association

  • Letter of Invitation from host or recipient Company/Organization/Association

  • Business Registration and TIN Certificate of the host or recipient Company/Organization/Association

DURATION: 

The Business Visa issued for 1 year.

  • Multiple Entry : €130
  • Return Postage of Documents via Registered Mail: €15

Visa fees are non-refundable. The fees can either be enclosed in the envelope with the documents to be posted to the Embassy or transferred into the Embassy’s Bank Account.

IN THE CASE OF A BANK TRANSFER, KINDLY CONTACT THE EMBASSY FOR THE BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS.

PLEASE TRANSFER THE EXACT FEE INTO THE ACCOUNTS. THE EMBASSY WOULD NOT BE IN A POSITION TO REFUND ANY EXCESS PAYMENT.

PROCESS:

 

The Embassy would not be in a position to process a Visa Application if the respective fees are not received. The Visa Application process can take approximately five (5) working days, but can vary on a case by case basis.

Payment of fees does not automatically guarantee that the Visa will be granted. A Visa is granted once the Embassy verifies that the information provided on the Application Form and supporting documents is true and correct.

The Passport with the appropriately issued Visa will be returned to the Applicant via Registered Mail to the return address stated on the Application Form. The Applicant is required to confirm receipt of the Passport and other documents by signing and returning to the Embassy the “Receipt of Documents Slip” via email address (consular@embassyofguyana.be)
